Telescope House
A house designed as a research instrument for an ecologist studying old-growth trees in Deep Cove. The plan borrows a telescope's operative logic, translating it into a long glazed volume wrapped around a living Western Red Cedar. A sun-angle study informed the skylight and window placement, so the architecture itself becomes the lens through which the ecologist observes the forest.
