Twist Pavilion

Twisted from a simple box to follow the park’s slope, the pavilion bends at a major path intersection with three defined zones—an accessible entrance, amphitheater-style seating, and a public bathroom—while its open, sunlit form becomes a natural extension of the landscape.

A study of Resor House by Mies van der Rohe; The first model explores Mies’ exploration of grounded masses versus floating planes. The second model investigates reveals spatial porosity and transparency that reinforce the floating quality of the central volume within Mies’ rectilinear vocabulary.
